History

Originally founded in 1994 as Cyberworks, we began working together before there was a Netscape much less an Internet Explorer. Our first sites were coded for Mosaic, AOL and Prodigy. We celebrated the birth of JAVA with Sun Microsystems and we have the embroidered leather jackets to prove it.
We worked with NASA and showed the world, quite literally, where we are all headed. We helped Prime Sports (now Fox Sports) to discover how the internet can be used in promoting, delivering, and monetizing sports content. And we helped countless clients and many friends take their business to the Web. We built a reputation as being both a tech shop and a creative studio, in other words a Web shop.
In 1998, a publicly traded company acquired Cyberworks. Our stock skyrocketed as we invested in startups and became a thriving venture capital firm. In January 2001 the bubble burst and like countless other incubators, the business dissolved.
Teneleven, Inc., was formed the next day with the commitment of getting back to our agency roots and providing a more personal approach. This time it didn’t happen overnight, but it happened. We like the fact that we were a part of the initial internet ride, owed in no small part to a little irrational exuberance. But we’re proudest of our postmillennial achievements. Why? Because we achieved success through hard work, focus and commitment in a challenging business environment.
